What exactly is included?
Domain only; no website, hosting or email. Serallo keeps it renewed during an active lease. After transfer, ongoing renewals are yours. Please check that the name is suitable for your business, including any trade mark considerations.
How does the monthly option work?
Lease to own. Pay 10% initially, then follow your chosen monthly schedule. Use the domain during the plan while we retain its registration. Your final scheduled payment is your option-to-buy payment, with no large final balance or additional purchase price.
When can I start using the domain?
Once your payment and application are approved. With an active lease, you receive exclusive use and can manage DNS and nameservers, while Serallo keeps registrant and transfer control. DNS updates may take time to appear.
Can I stop the plan?
You can stop the plan without owing future payments. Your domain-use rights and purchase option will end under the agreement. Treatment of payments already made follows our cancellation terms and your statutory rights.
What does the additional licence charge cover?
The additional licence charge covers the selected payment period and is included in the payments and total shown. It is calculated from the original cash price using marginal annual pricing bands: 20% of the first £1,000 and 8% above that, multiplied by the selected months ÷ 12. It does not compound or create a separate annual bill.
Is the final payment optional?
Yes. The final purchase-option payment is the same amount as a regular monthly payment. We need your express instruction to collect it; you choose to make it separately when it becomes due. Registration transfers only after successful completion and the registry process.
